Director of SaaS Sales

Job Description

The main role of the Director of SaaS Sales is to lead all efforts for new customer acquisition and help build and manage the SaaS sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate new contacts constantly through networking and cold-calling to increase client base
  • Support your team by leading and participating in client and prospect meetings
  • Managing a fast-paced SaaS sales process
  • Using proven sales tools to manage your pipeline, track progress against goals and improve productivity
  • Convey up-to-date competitive positioning and customer demands in the marketplace, and prepare periodic activity and forecast reports
  • Conduct weekly/monthly meetings and updates to review sales activities and results of the sales team

Experience

  • Must have a verifiable track record of exceeding quota 3 of the last 5 years
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated sales management success with combined history of individual contributor sales as well as prior experience leading a B2B sales team
  • Experience closing multiple B2B consultative SaaS contracts per month in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, people and closing skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills among a variety of audiences
  • Professional, ethical, high-integrity people management skills. You will be trusted to exercise judgement in the absence of specific direction
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client and prospective client visits
  • Understand CRM solutions
  • Strong communicator at every level and willing to dig in to get the job done
  • Bachelor’s degree
