Senior Account Executive – Remote

Summary:

We are looking for an Account Executive who has worked at a freight brokerage(s), full-time, to hunt, present and close freight brokerages with our game changing technology/data, and then cultivate additional business so your accounts grow. The ideal candidate has had success in the early days of new organization. Cargo Chief provides services that enable buyers of truckload capacity to procure their trucks more effectively and more efficiently. We are looking to capitalize on our unusually high demo to customer conversion ratio and grow rapidly.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Hunt: independently prospect your freight brokerage industry network, cold calling and follow up on leads from our demand generation and demonstrate our solutions
  • Close new accounts with quick sales cycle, and exceed your agreed upon quota
  • Farm: cultivate additional business and ensure satisfaction from accounts you have previously closed
  • Convey customer feedback that you hear so Cargo Chief can be responsive to the market
  • Update our CRM to enable you and the team to see your progress and plan for additional business
  • Have input into company direction as you will represent the voice of the customer
  • Help generate sales playbook for others

You:

  • 3+ Years of exceeding quota as an Account Executive or Carrier Representative at a domestic freight broker
  • Demonstrated success in ramping rapidly, closing business, getting customers signed-up
  • A history maintaining customers, that you closed, are highly satisfied
  • Super organized, keeping hundreds of customers and prospects in play, and rarely letting one drop
  • Self-starter, able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment and changing market
  • Customer savvy, customer service and sales oriented, while being a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written/email and Zoom) skills
  • Being smart, passionate, and determined
  • Self-driven to work remotely
  • Pluses:
    • Startup – Less than 10 on the team, (ambiguous, dynamic, complex) experience
    • HubSpot/Modern CRM and Airtable, skills
    • SaaS/data solution selling experience
    • Pre-Covid-19 success working remotely
    • College degree
